Fighting for something you believe in. Yourself.

Every summer I compete in about 5-6 triathlons. I love it, well most of it. There comes a point in every race, usually when I get off my bike, half way into my run, where I feel completely exhausted. It’s as if I could pass out and I have a strong urge to just stop running. In these moments, I ask myself, ‘Why the hell are you doing this? You feel terrible, you have half the run left, you could just stop and walk the rest’. In the midst of my inner turmoil, I find a fight, a desire to test my abilities and to see what's possible when I give it my all.

This wonderful quote by Albert Camus is the best way I can describe the feeling…

LXLMS

In the midst of winter, I found there was, within me, an invincible summer. And that makes me happy. For it says that no matter how hard the world pushes against me, within me, there’s something stronger – something better, pushing right back.

When was the last time you tapped into that ‘something stronger’ driving you? What was it for? What do you want in your life?

Whatever it is you want, only you can get it.

No one can give this to you. No job can make it for you, no coach can transform you into this, no circumstances will create this in your life. It's the fight you bring, the drive you bring, knowing you've given your all, brought your best and win or lose, fail or succeed you're living on your terms.

The beauty of life is our opportunity to choose; how we react to situations, how we perceive events in our lives, and what we fight for.

I choose to fight for me, for my potential, for all the possibilities I create when I give my all.

Who would you be if you fought for yourself for an entire week? If you gave your all? How would your life be different?
